% Recreational Screen Time TV and Games 2+ Hours - SALT ONLY

Short Definition: % students who watch 2+ hours of TV and play 2+ hours of video games on an avg school day

Long Definition:

Percent of students who reported on the SALT survey that they watched two or more hours of TV and played two or more hours of video games on an average school day. This indicator is discontinued for future comparisons because of lack of consistency between the questions in the SALT survey and the new SurveyWorks! questions.

The last SALT survey was administered in 2007-08. The new SurveyWorks! survey is replacing SALT. High Schools were not administered the SALT survey in 2003-04.

This indicator is discontinued for future comparisons because of lack of consistency between the questions in the SALT survey and the new SurveyWorks! questions.
